Rewards make life rewarding!
We love to reward our excellent behaviour.
At our school we are blessed with lovely children who care for each other and their teachers. In order to reward them we have several activities and incentives:
- Stickers
- St John's Stars
- Certificates
- Responsibilities
- Praise and thanks
- Letters home
- Top Table at lunchtime (photo)
- Golden Time
Top Table tickets are handed out to those children who have tried extra hard in the lunch hall each day. On Fridays they are then allowed to sit at a table together with a cloth, flowers and napkins!
Classes are awarded Golden Time when they have collected the most St John's Star points. They are awarded these for good behaviour around school. The classes with the most each half term are given an afternoon's choice of activity with Mrs Robinson. Popular activities include baking, art and PE. Teaching teams are given the time off to persue their own Golden Time! As you can imagine, both staff and children work very hard to achieve Golden Time! Could this be why our behaviour was judged 'outstanding' by both Ofsted and SIAS?!
