Meet the staff

Find out more about the staff of our school…

These are our Admin Staff:

• Mrs Waller Admin Officer

  

  Mrs Waller is our Administrative Officer who has worked at the school for over 14 years.  She has overall responsibility for the school administration and finance monitoring.  She is also a Foundation Governor to the school.

• Mrs Taylor Admin Assistant

  

  Mrs Taylor has worked at the school for over 19 years and is an Administrative Assistant, with responsibility for reception duties, organising school meals and monitoring attendance.  She is also a First Aider.

• Miss Thomson Administrative Assistant

  

  Miss Thomson joined the team during the Autumn Term 2007 and works in the office as an Administrative Assistant.

These are our Teaching staff:

• Mrs. Rachel Robinson Head Teacher

  

  The Head Teacher is Mrs. Rachel Robinson. She has been at the school since September 2006.  Mrs Robinson is an Ex-Officio member of the Governing Body.

• Mrs Richardson Special Needs Teacher

  

  Mrs Richardson comes into school twice a week to help groups of children.

• Mrs Arrowsmith-Cooper Teacher

  

  Mrs Arrowsmith-Cooper teaches the Proverbs.  She is responsible for music in the school and she leads the singing in Morning Worship.  She helps to run the school choir.

• Mrs Helen Robinson Teacher

  

  Mrs Robinson teaches the Genesis class.  In the past she was a Teaching Assistant in the school.

• Mrs Guzel Graduate Teacher

  

  Mrs Guzel is a Graduate teacher working with Corinthians and Exodus. She has been at the school since January 2003 when she began her teaching career with us as a Nursery Nurse.

• Ms Cooper Teacher

  

  Mrs Cooper has worked at the school since September 2001 and currently works in Exodus.  She is responsible for Geography and History across the school.

• Mrs Thompson Assistant Head

  

  Mrs Thompson is our Assistant Head.  She is an Associated Member of the Governing Body. 

• Mrs Appleyard Teacher

  

  Mrs Appleyard teaches in Corinthians. She joined the staff in 1992 and has responsibility for the leadership of Art and RE throughout the school.  She is the Foundation Stage leader. She runs an after-school art club.

• Miss Imrie Teacher

  

  Miss Imrie was welcomed onto the school team in September 2004. She teaches Thessalonians and has responsibility for Science.  She is Key Stage Two leader. She runs an after-school Netball club.

• Mrs Havercroft Teacher

  Mrs Havercroft is our cover teacher.  She works two days a week in various classes.

• Mrs Brett Teacher

  

  Mrs Brett is currently working in Hosea and has leadership responsibility in PSHCE throughout the school.

These are our Lunchtime Supervisors:

• Miss Wilson Lunchtime Supervisor

  

  Miss Wilson has just joined the school as a lunchtime supervisor.

• Miss Stuart Lunchtime Supervisor

  

  Miss Stuart has just started working with us at lunchtime.

• Mrs Wilson Senior Lunchtime Supervisor

  

  Mrs Wilson is in charge during the lunch hour.

• Mrs Foster Lunchtime Supervisor

  

  Mrs Foster has just started working with us at lunchtimes.

• Miss Cox Lunchtime Supervisor

  

  Miss Cox also works as a Teaching Assistant in school.

• Mrs Brockwell Lunchtime Supervisor

  

  Mrs Brockwell has worked at the school for a number of years.  She also often helps out at Breakfast Club.

• Mrs Finnerty Lunchtime Supervisor

  

  Mrs Finnerty also works as a cleaner in the school.

• Mrs Isaac Lunchtime Supervisor

  

  Mrs Isaac also runs our Breakfast Club.

• Mrs Scrimgeour Lunchtime Supervisor

  

  Mrs Scrimgeour also runs our Breakfast Club.

These are our Classroom support staff:

• Mrs Brooks Teaching Assistant

  

  Mrs Brooks has been with the school for a long time as she was previously a cook and a lunchtime supervisor.  She is now a full time Teaching Assistant, working in various classes in the school.

• Miss Rowe Teaching Assistant

  

  Miss Rowe has worked in the school for two years.  She is a Teaching Assistant with responsibility for an individual child.

• Miss Fox Nursery Nurse

  

  Miss Fox has been at the school for two years.  She is a Nursery Nurse and current;y works in Corinthians.

• Miss Smith Teaching Assistant

  

  Miss Smith is a Teaching Assistant with responsibilty for supporting an individual child in Exodus.  She is a fairly new member of staff as she joined us in 2008. 

• Mrs Ingleby Teaching Assistant

  

  Mrs Ingleby is a Teaching Assistant. She joined the staff in 2002 and supports children who have statements of Special Educational Needs.  She helps to run a lunchtime knitting club.

• Ms Skipworth Teaching Assistant

  

  Ms Skipworth joined the team as a Teaching Assistant during the Autumn Term 2004.  She is currently working in Proverbs. She begins her school day giving administrative support.  Ms Skipworth is the Governor and is on the PFA.

• Mrs. Bilton Teaching Assistant

  

  Mrs. Bilton has been a Classroom Support Assistant at the school since 1999. She works in Romans with a child on a one-to-one basis. She is also a Mid-day Supervisor.

• Mrs Middleton Teaching Assistant

  

  Mrs Middleton is an experienced Classroom Support Assistant, currently working in Romans and Thessalonians. She has been on the staff for over 19 years and is one of our Governors. She has responsibility for Continuing Professional Development and Design and Technology. She runs a gardening club and cookery club.  She is also a staff representative on the Governing Body.

• Mr Smith Teaching Assistant

  

  Mr Smith is a qualified Specialist Teaching Assistant working in Romans and Thessalonians with responsibility for the Library. He runs two after-school football clubs for Key Stage Two children. Fridays and also a reading club on Thursday lunchtimes for all year groups.  He joined the staff in 1997.

• Mrs Gay Teaching Assistant

  

  Mrs Gay has worked at the school since 1998 and currently works in Hosea.  She is a qualified dance instructor and supports the PE curriculum through dance.  She also provides choreography for school productions.

• Mrs Horrigan Teaching Assistant

  

  Mrs Horrigan has worked at the school since September 1999 and currently works in Genesis.

• Miss Stewart Nursery Nurse

  

  Miss Stewart has worked at the school since September 2003.  She currently works in Exodus.

• Miss Jagger Teaching Assistant

  

  Miss Jagger joined the Reception team in the Autumn Term 2007.  She is currently working in Exodus and Corinthians.

• Mrs Chandler Teaching Assistant

  

  Mrs Chandler has been employed at the school since September 2006.  She has provided voluntary classroom support for a number of years.  She works in Hosea.

These are our Site Maintenance Staff:

• Mrs Banks Cleaner

  Mrs Banks hasd worked at the school for nearly three years.  She helps Mrs Stewart to ensure that the school is clean and tidy.

• Mr Booth Site Maintenence Officer

  

  Mr Booth works with Mrs Stewart to ensure that all the maintenance and Health and Safety matters are taken care of.  He has been with us for a few months.

• Mrs Stewart Site Manager

  

  Mrs Stewart has been with the school for over twenty years and she is in charge of the cleaning and caretaking at school. 

These are our Other support staff:

• Mrs Taylor Kitchen Assistant

  

  Mrs Taylor has been with us for a few months.

• Mrs Broom Kitchen Assistant

  

  Mrs Broom has been with us for a few months.

• Mrs Headland Cook In Charge

  

  Mrs Headland is our cook.  She has been with us for about a year.

• Mrs Williams Care, Welfare and Support officer

  

  Mrs Williams joined the team as a Teaching Assistant in September 2005.  She currently supports works with groups of children who need extra support.  She also provides pastoral support for families in the school.
