Genesis Autumn term letter

Dear Parents/Carers
Welcome back to a new term. I hope you are as happy as we are with the way your children have settled into Genesis.
We have an exciting term planned, with activities revolving around our theme of ‘Light and Dark’. Here is a list of our regular, weekly activities for your information:
v Monday – library. Please bring all library books back to change.
v Thursday – homework. Children will be given their book bags with maths and reading homework and a list of spellings to complete. Please ensure this is returned by the following Tuesday so that there is sufficient time to mark the work and prepare a new set to give out.
v Friday – P.E. Children will require a Tshirt and pair of shorts to change into for P.E, which should be named and sent in a bag. While the weather is warm we will be making the most of our outdoor area so please send a pair of sandshoes or trainers. It is useful if the kit can be kept in school as the children will also be taking part in dance lessons every other Thursday. There is also official kit available to purchase from the school office.
Finally, if you have any concerns please do not hesitate to speak to either of us when we are out on the playground at the start or end of the day or make an appointment for a longer chat after school.
