Chestnut Class

  Welcome to Chestnuts.

In our class there is a mix of Year 5 and Year 6 children.  The teaching is shared between Mrs. Thompson and Mrs. Havercroft.  We have daily Literacy and Numeracy lessons; Science is on Thursdays and P.E. is on Wednesdays.

Head Boy/Girl and Deputy Head Boy/Girl are chosen by the school staff from the Year 6 children who are also working hard towards their SATs in May next year.

The children have been using their letter-writing skills to write letters of thanks to Archbishop Sentamu, following his visit to school for our Easter service.
