Parents & Friends Association ( PFA )

We are a voluntary group of parents, teachers and friends associated with

Newland St John’s C of E primary school.

Within our group we organise and run events to enable us to raise enough money to make a difference to the school and the children who attend there.

We are always looking for new recruits to join our brilliant team, and for fresh new ideas that benefit everyone.

We are currently helping to raise money for the building fund as we still have an outstanding amount to pay, Ks1 play equipment and the year 6 leavers trip.

All help is much appreciated for us to succeed in our goals, please contact the school office with your name and number if interested in helping in any way, we have regular meetings to discuss future events so please feel free to attend and find out more.

  Food for Life Partnership

The school has been awarde the bronze award by the Food for Life Partnership.  This recognises the work the school has done to ensure that school dinners contain healthy choices and children are aware of how to eat a healthy diet and where our food comes from.  The school has links with a local farm, which classes have visited.  We also have the use of a local allotment near to the school where we will be growing fresh food to use in our school dinners.
